On Saturday, August 7, 2021, police attended a Cobourg residence after a report of a man being assaulted.
As a result of police investigation, 30-year-old Cobourg resident Matthew Vetor was arrested for:
• Assault Cause Bodily Harm While in custody
Vetor was further charged with the following offences:
• Assault Peace Officer
• Assault Peace Officer Cause Bodily Harm
Vetor was held in custody and scheduled for a bail hearing on August 8.
