A man was charged with mischief and assault after police responded to a domestic dispute in the Town of Cobourg.
On Wednesday, July 21, 2021, police were called to a domestic dispute. A woman alleged that her partner had caused damage within their shared residence and assaulted her.
As a result of the subsequent police investigation, the man was arrested and charged with the following offences:
1. Mischief under $5,000
2. Assault with a Weapon
The man was released on an undertaking with conditions.
The man’s name is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
