Sixty per cent of residents age 12 and up in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties – that’s more than 90,000 people – are now fully vaccinated with two doses of a COVID vaccine.
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health says 80% have received at least one dose.
The health unit also reported one new case of COVID-19, two recoveries and nine active cases Thursday.
The new case is a woman in her seventies from Prince Edward County with the cause pending.
There is still one person in hospital in the ICU being treated for the virus.
