A man charged with second degree murder and his wife, charged with being an accessory to murder, will stand trial in Belleville’s Superior Court.
Bryan Callighan, 60 at the time charges were laid, and Christine Callighan, 67, were charged by Quinte West OPP after the body of their son, 23-year-old Patrick, was found at a Loyalist Parkway residence on March 30 of last year.
Crown Attorney Lee Burgess says both accused will appear for a judicial pre-trial on September 1.
A date for the start of a jury trial has not been set.
