A Kingston man has been arrested as part of an ongoing child luring investigation in the Napanee area.
Lennox and Addington OPP say they were told about a man who had been chatting with a young person online for some time, so they began an investigation and found enough grounds to lay charges against 38-year-old Brian Hinch.
He’s been charged with one count each of distributing and possessing child pornography, sending sexually explicit material to a person under 16, luring a person under 16 and extortion.
He’s being held in custody.
OPP say their investigation is ongoing and they believe there may be more victims and are asking anyone who might have information on this case, or any internet child exploitation, to get in touch with them.
