Northumberland OPP say they are still investigating an act of vandalism in Brighton from earlier this month.
Sometime overnight from July 3 to July 4, someone used white spray paint to deface the Pride crosswalk, that had been laid down on Terry Fox Drive.
At the time of the incident Mayor Brian Ostrander had expressed his anger to the Brighton Independent, condemning the act of vandalism by calling it “an unacceptable defacement of public property”, adding that Brighton is a progressive-minded and welcoming community.
Anyone who might have information on the crosswalk vandalism, on Terry Fox Drive in Brighton, is asked to contact Northumberland OPP or Crimestoppers.
