Search and Rescue Technicians from 424 Squadron at CFB Trenton were called into action on Friday evening.
The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre at 8 Wing says a CH146 Griffon Helicopter responded to Algonquin Park to help a hiker in distress.
The hiker was airlifted from the park and taken to Bancroft, where they were transferred to the care of Bancroft EMS.
