A 64-year-old Deseronto man has been charged after a car hit a house in the east end of Belleville on Saturday afternoon.
City police were called to the home around 4:20 p.m. where the car reportedly hit the house and left the scene, before eventually being pulled over.
An initial investigation led officers to charge Paul Rioux with impaired driving, driving while prohibited and several other Highway Traffic Act offences.
He was released with a court date in August.
No injuries were reported.
