Ground was broken Thursday on a new infrastructure project in Belleville.
Mayor Mitch Panciuk, members of council and staff held a sod-turning for the Orchard and Pringle Drive reconstruction project.
Work will include replacement of existing water main and water services, the installation of a new storm sewer main, as well as complete reconstruction of the road with new concrete curbs and gutters, new concrete sidewalks and new asphalt road surface.
Work on Orchard and Pringle Drive should be complete by December with the project being undertaken by Cobourg Development Services.
