Two new cases of COVID-19 were reported Tuesday by Hastings Prince Edward Public Health, bringing the number of active cases across the region to six.
One of the new cases is in the Deseronto area, while the other is in North Hastings.
The cause of one case is close contact, with the health unit dashboard showing the cause of the other as pending.
Active cases are spread across the region – two in North Hastings and one each in Quinte West, Prince Edward County, Central Hastings and Deseronto.
There are currently no active cases in Belleville.
Seventy-seven per cent of local residents age 12 and up have received a first dose of a COVID vaccine.
The percentage of fully vaccinated residents is up to 39%.
And Northumberland County is sporting a clean sheet.
There were no new cases reported Tuesday and one recovery meaning there are no active cases in Northumberland.
