Quick response by the Quinte West Fire Department kept a small fire from causing big problems Sunday night.
Firefighters were called out to a house at 21886 Loyalist Parkway in Carrying Place at 10:30.
There was a small fire inside the home but firefighters entered and doused the flames and ventilated the house.
Damage was minor and no one was injured.
