The number of COVID-19 cases increased slightly over the last week but the number of vaccinations, especially second dose shots, continues to climb.
Last Friday there were no active cases of the virus in Hastings Prince Edward.
As of Friday there are three cases active.
Two of the cases were attributed to travel with just one caused by local spread.
The HPE Public Health dashboard shows more than 13,700 people received their second dose of a COVID vaccine over the last seven days.
More than 51,000 residents, or 34% of the local population age 12 and up is now fully vaccinated.
Seventy-six per cent of people have received one dose of vaccine.
In the last four weeks, almost 42,000 people received their second dose.
At CFB Trenton, more than 2,500 people are fully vaccinated.
