A mother and her young child were very lucky to have escaped injury after a car rolled onto its roof in a ditch late Canada Day afternoon.
The accident occurred shortly before 6 o’clock on Thrasher Road in Belleville’s Thurlow ward.
City police charged a 37-year-old woman with careless driving and driving under suspension.
She has a September 13 court date.
