The Picton Pirates have named a familiar face as their new head coach.
GM Jason Parks has announced Kyle Hawkins-Schulz will be behind the bench for the 2021/22 season, building off his time as an assistant coach with the Pirates in 2013, when the team won its first Schmalz Cup Ontario title.
Hawkins-Schulz played three seasons with the Wellington Dukes and has other coaching experience with the Dukes and Quine Red Devils.
The rest of the coaching staff is expected to be filled out in the coming months.
