Staff at Collins Bay Institution in Kingston have made another significant seizure of contraband.
Staff found the unauthorized packages around the perimeter of the prison around 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19 with those packages containing large amounts of drugs, tobacco and cell phones.
Prison staff say the estimated institutional value of the seized items is around $30,900.
There’s been no word on any charges in connection to the packages, but the Correctional Service of Canada is continuing to investigate.
