A Brighton student has come away from this year’s Canada-wide Science Fair with some hardware.
Jessica Livingstone, a grade 12 student at East Northumberland Secondary School received two major awards including a Bronze Excellence Award for her project, “A Mountain of Technofossils: Is This the Hill We Want to Die On?”
Her project focussed on the harms of electronic waste.
She was also awarded the Challenge Award Natural Resources – Top Senior Project.
After being cancelled last year due to COVID-19, this year’s competition was held virtually.
