We are heading into the long weekend and that means an increased police presence on roads, trails, and waterways.
This is Canada Road Safety Week and Bancroft, Northumberland, Central Hastings, Napanee, Prince Edward, and Quinte West OPP will be busy.
Heading into the Victoria Day holiday, officers will be watching for aggressive, distracted and impaired driving, and for those not buckling up.
Police will also be out on local bodies of water to make sure boaters have safety gear in their boat, and there is no impaired operation.
ATV riders are to take note for a trail presence as well.
