During the month of June, a rainbow-patterned pride flag will be seen flying in front of Quinte West city hall.
It was made official at Monday night’s Quinte West council meeting.
In partnership with the Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board and all its partner municipalities, Quinte West council approved that June be recognized as Pride Month in Quinte West.
Councillor Allan DeWitt asked that they discuss painting rainbow-patterned pride crosswalks in Quinte West.
The matter will be brought to council at the first meeting in June.
