Prince Edward County council will soon be creating specific regulations governing where and under what conditions marijuana production and processing will be allowed in the county.
The municipality is asking for public comment on the issue before any final decisions are made.
Currently, no new cannabis production/processing facilities are allowed in Prince Edward County under a temporary interim control by-law.
An on-line survey on the issue is available to the public until April 29.
