Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is reporting 11 new COVID-19 cases and 12 new recoveries Sunday for an active total of 114.
There are five new cases in Belleville, four in Quinte West and one each in Prince Edward County and Centre Hastings.
Five of the new cases are listed as being due to close contact, three are attributed to local spread and three are listed as pending.
As of Sunday there are 12 people in hospital with five in the Intensive Care Unit and one person on a ventilator. There are also seven new Variant of Concern cases being reported for a total of 219 since the pandemic began.
To date, 51,057 vaccine doses have been given with 3,289 people fully vaccinated.
The Haliburton, Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit does not update COVID-19 numbers on Sundays.
