Northumberland OPP are investigating a fatal UTV accident in Alnwick-Haldimand Township.
According to police, officers were called to an unmaintained road in the area of Bowmanton Road and Morris Road at approximately 8 a.m. Saturday.
Police say 51-year-old George Mikaric of Harwood, Ontario was pronounced dead at the scene after a collision involving a single UTV, or utility terrain vehicle.
A postmortem exam is taking place in Kingston Monday at the Ontario Coroner’s Office and the OPP Technical Collision Investigation team is continuing an investigation into the cause.
