The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit is advising Northumberland residents of a potential COVID-19 exposure at Swiss Chalet in Cobourg.
Anyone who was at the restaurant between March 25 and April 5 is being asked to self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 and to seek testing if they develop.
The health unit declared an outbreak at the restaurant April 7 and there are six cases associated with the business which has been voluntarily closed until April 20.
The exposure risk is low according to HKPR Medical Officer of Health Dr. Natalie Bocking so self-isolation is not necessary.
