Belleville Police arrested a 32-year-old woman in connection with a number of outstanding warrants in Belleville and Quinte West today.
Officers located the woman after responding to a complaint of an unwanted person in the Bridge and Church Street area.
Investigators say she gave them a fake name and tried to run away, but was eventually taken into custody.
The woman, who has no fixed address and whose name was not released, was arrested on those outstanding warrants and charged with obstructing police an escaping lawful custody.
She was held for a court date tomorrow.
