The Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte say a staff member within the MBQ office has tested positive for COVID-19.
A release on Thursday says the person was being tested “for surveillance purposes” and is currently asymptomatic.
Any close contacts have been notified and told to self-isolate and as a result, the MBQ administration offices and community well-being centre have been closed until Monday, March 22.
Administrative services can still be accessed over the phone, or by email and any in-person appointments will be rescheduled.
The band council says a vaccine clinic scheduled for the Territory tomorrow will go ahead as planned, with added safety precautions in place.
