Residential properties lead the way by a wide margin when it comes to the value of property in the Municipality of Brighton.
At its meeting tonight, Brighton council will see a report from the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation showing the total value of properties in Brighton at almost $1.7 billion.
Almost 84% of those properties are classified as residential. The second most prominent property class is agricultural at 6%.
Less than half a percent of property in Brighton is classified as industrial.
