Police arrested a man with outstanding warrants after investigating reports of a suspicious person in the city Saturday night.
Officers were in a school yard in the east end at approximately 10:30 p.m. after getting reports of a suspicious person in the area.
They found a man hiding from police under a portable classroom and eventually coaxed him out when he identified himself as 40-year-old Jody Wannamaker.
Further investigation revealed Wannamaker had outstanding warrants and he was arrested.
He was released on an undertaking with a court date set for April 15, 2021.
