Two men from Belleville have been charged with shoplifting after an incident at a store in Quinte West on Monday night.
Police weren’t called until Tuesday, but say the previous night around 7:00 p.m., one of the suspects distracted a cashier, while the other stole a bottle of alcohol.
Thirty-four-year-old Jonathan Hill and 31-year-old Tyler Hill were both arrested and charged with theft under $5,000.
They were released with conditions and will appear in Belleville Court on April 1.
