Members of the Peterborough County OPP attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding on County Road 40 at approximately 12:45 a.m. on March 6, 2021.
The vehicle fled at a high rate of speed but was located by officers in a residential driveway on Asphodel 4th Line.
Benjamin BROWN (age 18) of Campbellford, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
· Flight from peace officer
· Dangerous operation
· Race a motor vehicle – excessive speed
· Novice driver – B.A.C. above zero
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on April 13, 2021.
