On Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at approximately 10:45 a.m., members of the Central Hastings OPP were dispatched to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the Municipality of Marmora and Lake.
As a result of the investigation, Chad EVERETT, age 41 of Trent Hills was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code and the Highway Traffic Act with:
• Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000
• Operation while Impaired
• Fail to Comply
• Driving while under Suspension x 2
The accused was held in custody and is currently scheduled for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on March 8, 2021.
