Sunday afternoon Cobourg police on general patrol observed a woman on Division Street known to be wanted by CPS on an outstanding warrant.
As a result of police investigation, 24-year-old Amanda MUNRO of Cobourg was arrested on the strength of the warrant and charged with:
1. Theft under $5,000
2. Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 x 2
3. Fraudulent use of a credit card
4. Fail to comply with appearance notice – fingerprinting
5. Fail to attend court after having appeared
MUNRO was released from police custody on an undertaking with a future court date.
