This year’s Butterfly Run is going virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Set to take place in May, the virtual run of five or ten kilometres will raise money and awareness for pregnancy and infant loss.
Over the course of three years the group has raised over $340,000 to provide families who have experienced a loss with “Butterfly kits” which contain resources for grieving families.
This year’s walk or run takes place from May 1 to May 16 and registration happens on their website.
Proceeds from this year will go to the Child Bereavement fund at Quinte Health Care and the Pregnancy and Infant Loss Network.
