Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is reporting one new COVID-19 case in Hastings Prince Edward Saturday.
There have also been two new recoveries for a total of 17 active cases in the two counties. The new case is located in Prince Edward County and is listed as being due to local spread. There are two active workplace outbreaks, one in Central Hastings and one in Belleville.
To date, there have been 6,371 vaccines administered.
The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit is reporting five new cases of COVID-19 in Northumberland county along with one recovery for a total of 17 active cases.
