A man known to frequent both Kingston and Belleville, has been arrested.
Earlier this week we told you that the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad was looking for Thusanth Ariyanayagam.
He was said to be breaching his statutory conditions.
According to The Whig Standard, the 26-year-old was arrested around 5:00 p.m. in Kingston, at the intersection of Benson and Division Streets.
Ariyanayagam is a suspect in a groping incident as well in a Kingston elevator.
On top of being wanted on a warrant, he is charged with sexual assault and being unlawfully at large.
He was serving a two year sentence for assault with a weapon, assault and breaching a recognizance, after walking away from a halfway house Monday
