Northumberland OPP helped to recover a trio of stolen vehicles on Sunday night.
An officer with York Regional Police was following a transport truck eastbound on Highway 401, around 10:00 p.m., believing that the truck had stolen high-end vehicles inside.
Northumberland officers were able to eventually stop the truck near the Burnham Street exit and led the driver to the carpool lot on County Road 45, where they inspected the trailer.
Inside they found two Toyota Highlanders and a Lexus RX5, which had been reported stolen from York and Peel regions.
There was no word on any charges against the truck driver, but York Regional Police are continuing to investigate.
