The Ontario Trillium Foundation is chipping in to help make Belleville a safer community.
On Monday, the city’s Children’s Safety Village administration announced that the Foundation had granted it $55,000.
The money will be used to pay for the transition of safety programming for kids online as on-site courses have had to be cancelled due to the pandemic.
Since it started 16 years ago the Children’s Safety Village has delivered safety programming to about 10,000 kids.
