The City of Belleville has sold some prime development property in the west end.
The sale of the former Ben Bleecker building property on the east side of Sidney Street on the former fairgrounds has been officially signed off on.
Mayor Mitch Panciuk tells Quinte News it’s an exciting development for the future of the city but he can’t divulge who the buyer is until council passes a bylaw.
A previous Quinte News report says both commercial and residential uses are planned for the eight-acre parcel.
