A Belleville construction company is celebrating a significant anniversary by pumping some cash back into the local health care system.
In honour of their 54th year in business, McInroy-Maines Constructions is donating $54,000 to Quinte Health Care, with that money being split evenly between both the Belleville General Hospital Foundation and the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation.
In a statement, McInroy-Maines Owner Peter McInroy says “we are all going to need the hospital sometime” and sees the donation as a way to help the entire community.
It’s not the first time the company has made a sizable donation to local hospital foundations, as McInroy-Maines made a similar donation to celebrate 50 years in business, four years ago and is a regular sponsor of various BGHF and TMHF events.
The money will be used to help with X-ray replacement in Trenton and renovations to the ICU and fracture clinic, plus a new ECG machine in Belleville.
