Now that officers have moved into the new headquarters on College Street, the Belleville Police Service is auctioning off some items from the former police station on Dundas Street.
The police force says things like desks, chairs, telephones, lockers and other office equipment weren’t moved to the new HQ and they’re now up for auction through a website called govdeals.com.
The police service has used the service in the past to sell old cruisers, or items seized under the police services act like bikes, tools, or other property.
The police service act also requires that money raised from the auction goes back to the BPS to be re-allocated.
