An Oakville man who was charged after an April 2019 incident on Highway 401 near Marysville Road, has been handed a one-year driving ban and a year of probation.
Pacian Haluzan, who was 39 at the time of the incident, pleaded guilty on August 25 of this year to one count each of dangerous driving and resisting a peace officer.
He had initially been charged with assaulting police, flight from police and uttering threats as well, after officers say he backed into an OPP cruiser during a traffic stop, but those charges were withdrawn when he made his plea.
Along with the driving ban, he’s also been put on probation for a year.
