Public Health Officials are reporting one new confirmed case of COVID-19 in Hastings-Prince Edward today.
HPE Public Health says the new case, which is the only one currently active here, was confirmed yesterday and the transmission cause is pending.
It’s the first new case in the area since September 5 and brings the total since the pandemic began to 53, with 47 people recovering and five deaths related to the Coronavirus.
The HPE Public Health Dashboard shows the case as coming from Belleville and when asked for confirmation, officials would only point quinte news back to that website, which you can find a link to below.
In Northumberland County there are still seven active cases, according to the latest numbers from Haliburton-Kawartha Pine Ridge Public Health, released on Wednesday.
