Belleville Police responded to 83 calls for service between 5:00 a.m. on September 17, 2020 and 5 a.m. on September 18, 2020.
Along with various disturbances, trespass calls and minor crashes, officers also dealt with the following:
Officers use Narcan to revive man who overdosed
Belleville Police officers had to use Narcan to revive a man who had overdosed on drugs yesterday Thursday.
The initial call came in about a possible fight in the driveway of a west end home, just after 4:00 p.m., but when police arrived they found a man unconscious.
They gave the man two doses of Narcan, before Hastings-Quinte EMS transported him to Belleville General Hospital for more medical care.
In the end, no fight was found and no criminal charges were laid.
Charges laid after crash at busy intersection
A 27-year-old Belleville man has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act after a crash in Belleville yesterday Thursday evening.
It happened at the corner of North Front and College Street around 6:25 p.m.
City Police say nobody was injured but both vehicles took on a fair amount of damage and had to be towed from the scene.
The driver of one of the cars was charged with failing to yield from a private driveway.
Suspended driver charged in Downtown Belleville
Belleville Police have charged a city woman with a list of Highway Traffic Act charges after a traffic stop on Front Street early yesterday morning.
Officers pulled a car over around 2:30 a.m. and found that the woman driving had a suspended licence, no insurance and unauthorized plates on the vehicle.
The 37-year-old Belleville woman was charged for all of those offences.
Her vehicle was seized for a week and she’ll appear in Provincial Offences Court on November 2.
