It’s hoped the Belleville Lawn Bowling Club will get rolling again soon.
At its meeting Monday city council will be asked to sign off on a lease agreement with the club
for its use of the Hillcrest Community Centre.
The five-year lease with three automatic renewals would be for $1 a year.
The lawn bowling club had to move from its fairgrounds location on Yeomans Street when the city purchased the property
recently.
The club has been in operation since the early 1900s.
