The Municipality of Brighton issued just two building permits in August.
One permit was issued in the urban area and the other in the rural area for a total value of just under $1.3 million.
To date, the city has issued 36 permits for a total value of around $18.3 million compared to last year when the city issued 42 permits through the end of August for a total value of nearly $18.5 million.
