A 24-year-old Quinte West man has been charged with weapons offences after a disturbance at a home in Madoc Township last month.
Police were called to the incident on Highway 7 on July 19 and found a small handgun, a loaded shot gun and other items, before issuing a warrant for a suspect.
Wednesday, Michael Brewster was charged with two counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition while prohibited, and one count each of unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm and possession of a prohibited firearm or ammunition.
He was released with an October 1 court date in Belleville.
