Motor Vehicle Collision
On September 2, 2020 at approximately 5:45 p.m., city police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Bell Blvd, in the area of ‘No Frills’. Police attended the area and commenced an investigation. Two motor vehicles were involved, and both needed to be towed from the intersection. One of the drivers was taken to Belleville General Hospital by paramedics, with minor injuries. Further, one of the drivers was charged and issued a Provincial Offences Notice under the Highway Traffic Act for Turn Not in Safety.
Theft
On September 2, 2020 shortly after 5 p.m., city police received a report of a theft from a construction vehicle, in Belleville’s east end. It was reported that tools and personal belongings were taken from the vehicle. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the investigating officer, Cst.
