Four people have been arrested as part of Project Renewal, an ongoing joint forces investigation into the sale of illegal drugs in the Quinte Region.
Officers from the Belleville Police Service and the OPP’s Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, searched a home in Belleville Wednesday and found 130 grams of cocaine, $535 cash and an imitation handgun.
Police arrested 28-year-old Trurell Brown of Ajax, 25-year-old Ibrahim Muhia of Foxboro, 45-year-old Jamal Safi of Belleville and 38-year-old Travis Todhunter of Napanee.
All four men are charged with drug trafficking and various breach offences and were held in custody.
They are scheduled to appear in Belleville court Thursday.
