UPDATE @ 10:40 a.m. on Sept.4/20: Cobourg Police say they have been in touch with a woman who was reported missing on Thursday, September 3.
In a tweet, police say they spoke with the woman last night and they’re thanking everyone who reached out with tips on the case.
No other information has been released.

Cobourg Police are looking for a missing 35-year-old woman who hasn’t been heard from in almost a week.
Thirty-five-year-old Shannon Allen was last seen in the Division Street area on Friday, August 28 and police say they, and her family, are concerned for her wellbeing.
She’s described as white, with a slender build and long dark hair.
Anyone who might have information on the whereabouts of Shannon Allen of Cobourg, can call Cobourg Police or Crimestoppers.
