Collisions
On August 30, 2020 at 3 p.m., Belleville police attended the intersection of Tracey Street and North Front Street regarding a transport that had collided with a guard rail. Officers arrived on scene and determined that the transport had caused a large amount of damage as the driver was turning into a plaza parking lot. No injuries were reported and no charges were laid as the damage occurred on private property.
On August 29, 2020 at 4 p.m., Belleville police along with fire and ambulance attended Farnham road and Highway 62 regarding a car that had left the roadway and struck a hydro pole. The collision with pole caused a power outage in the area. The lone occupant was not injured but the vehicle was not driveable. Power was restored a few hours later. The investigation into the collision is continuing.
