There is another change for students in the Algonquin Lakeshore Catholic District School Board.
The Board of Trustees held a special meeting on Thursday and passed a motion that makes masks mandatory for those in Kindergarten to Grade 3.
The board says health units strongly recommend masks for students in those grades and they have made the decision to make masks mandatory in school and on buses.
The only exemptions are for medical and religious reasons.
