A boil water advisory for some residents in Prince Edward County has been lifted.
The precaution was put in place last week after a watermain break in downtown Picton, but Prince Edward County staff now says all services have been restored to the affected residents.
Staff have also confirmed that water being produced by the Picton/Bloomfield Drinking Water Plant and in the distribution system is safe for use.
However, homeowners are advised to flush their household plumbing with cold water for a few minutes.
The affected residents include those on Loyalist Parkway from the intersection of Picton Main Street, Talbot Street and Lake Street at the LCBO, up to but not including the Mobil Gas Station, along with Henry Street, Roger Street, Rosemary Court, Rosemary Lane and Cold Storage Road.
Services on the west side of Talbot Street, from the intersection of Picton Main Street to Curtis Street, have also been restored.
